The NWTMA advocates on behalf of both its members and the public for access to quality health care, and provides leadership and guidance to its members.
Main activities are in the following areas:

- negotiations and representation

About us
The Executive Committee of the NWMA is elected by the NWTMA membership. The executive committee may appoint committees to conduct the affairs of the association, and any special undertakings intended to promote the organization's objectives. Members of these committees shall be named from the general membership of the association.

Association policy is developed by the executive committee, which comprises the President, Past-President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary and three Members-at-Large. These officials serve for either one- or two-year terms.
